nails & dreams (+ sale promotion)

Hello dear readers!
Sorry for the long absence. It's September now, getting colder, but I am also getting closer to my goal because now I have finished my thesis and handed it in and I feel like a major burden letting go of me.

this one sugarfree drink helped me through the last pages~
(one shot booster! omg I have to post this because it's yu-gi-oh 5Ds related haha)

Though, I am still a bit nervous about the result and I feel like I can only 'let go' myself once I have passed. But soooo much disciple was necessary for me to pursue this one goal. You can't imagine what kind of fight with myself this was. Sometimes I felt like giving up and running away but I felt like I gave a promise to myself that I couldn't possibly break. Some things always reminded me that I am working for something that is worth it and that will bring me somewhere in life. I am talking like it's such a big business but I am not even sure if I passed yet... but since I already moved out of my apartment, I might as well show you what kept me going because I saw it on my way to university for the past 2 1/2 years. It's weird that it's on my bus route to University... in the first semester I lived somewhere else so I did not see this. But when I saw this every morning, I thought it had to be destiny. God, I am theatrical haha.

I don't care if this makes me look silly. Everyone needs something to keep them going, right? And it took me a while to notice him from the bus window actually but eventually I found myself looking for him every morning. I don't like original Yu-Gi-Oh that much but it made me thing of 5Ds (spin-off) so much. If you know a bit about the anime, you will realize it's about pursuing your dreams. It's about rising from the ashes, from being no one to be someone you want to be.
If you are pursuing a dream, you might like one of my favourite characters, Jack, 'the fallen King' and his wonderful words:

だからこそ自分達の手でやりとけたい!
That's why I want us to settle it by our own hands!

俺は諦めん俺達の夢を、こんなところで終わらすわけには行かない!
I won't give up! I can't let our dream end at this point!

This is it. This is what I felt like so many times and I felt like I have to get up and get myself through it no matter what. There was no way other than to go forward for me at some point and after all of this is done, I will be sure I can do anything I want. I can achieve anything.
Even if you don't have money and can't afford to go the path you like, you can always find a way around it to pursue your goal. Maybe it will turn out slightly different from what you imagine on the way but you can reach your goal. Don't let anyone tell you you can't. You wouldn't know how far it pushed me when people said that I can't do something or that something seems unreachable.
Also don't fear time. You will get older but dreams take time. It's the road to happiness that will make you happy if you don't forget what you are fighting for. You will get older, yes, but you will become happy on the way too. Each year you will look behind and realize all the amazing things you have done and achieved. Don't fear change, either. It will all be for the best if you work on it. And even slow success is progress.

Long deep talk. For those of you who have dreams and are unsure about things, I hope maybe this gave you a little hope that you are not alone.
Other than that, I don't have much to tell other than I have already redone my nails twice during the past months, haha. They're simple but I like how long they got!

I love the pastel pink and blue! Wonderful soft, feminine colours. Because I used a substitute for the cleaner, thumb and index finger fell off rather quickly and I had no chance to renew them while in the dorm... such a pity because my real nails were already that long.

I have been out sometimes, too, like yesterday when a friend went to a concert around my area and we had the chance to meet before that. But I forgot to take pictures because I got drunk after one beer haha. Well, I guess that proves I had fun!

Besides I found an older picture (from 2012) that I took when I wanted to sell some things. It was right after I came back from Japan. Look at that body!!

I am 'only' about 6-7 pounds more now but well, not that the exam phase and all the University stress is hopefully over I can get towards a body like that again. I mostly want to get skin like that again D: Which will be rather hard because that was mainly the work of my birth control. Oh but, I will push myself towards healthier eating and the life I want to live~
Also random side note: FB thought from my profile picture that I am Ageha model Airi Misaki (who poked me once without me poking her!! omg! I like her haha). Now if that isn't a start to a healthier/greater self!

That's all for now! Messy post because my dreams are a bit of a mess still~

But, if you are interested in Gyaru brand clothes (d.i.a., Gravil/tutuHa, Ghost of Harlem, Taboo, Garula), please have a look at the clothes I am selling! Especially if you live in Germany or Europe! Most are in a very good condition/like new or completely new~

Take care everyone & don't be afraid to dream a little bigger ♡

maybe they'll ride it here on a unicorn.

Oh hey, it has been a month again!
I wanted to write about a lot of things actually but either I was busy with something or I did not have my laptop with me or I was in pain... well, lately, it's allergy season for me and on top of that there's always something annoying me, I have no idea why I am sick that often. It's just a thing that comes when I have a stressful time I guess. And you know, I am one of those people who set high goals for themselves and want to have everything (minus the not so important things) finshed not one day in advance but like 5 weeks in advance? Yes, honestly, that's me.
What's been helping me through this phase has been my favourite doctor haha. I've been watching House M.D. in 2008 already but since it was on tv I didn't watch it regularly and did not see every episode. I can say the first 3 seasons are definitely proving this was at least one of the most promising shows I have ever seen.

Honestly how can you not like this guy? Unless he was your actual doctor... that would be a bit of a pain maybe. But uh, there is some kind of wicked philosophy in him that I cannot resist.

Besides this, when I had a bit of free time I decided to do my nails. Since they grew a bit longer I first just wanted to put a gel coat but when I finally figured out what I was doing wrong all those years (and why my gel nails fell off so quickly when I did them myself) I decided to have them a bit more fancy. The result was that they lasted longer than 2 weeks.

Did I ever mention that I made this blog with the intention to only show my nails?
But then I stopped doing my nails... and now I am not having them so fancy. Even though I want my nails fancy, filing them off takes so damn much time and during class I don't want people staring at them too much... for some reason. I'd want to do them more fancy again when in Japan though! My current nails just have a different glitter and are a bit longer. My natural nails are this long.

I was lazy with filing. And I wanted to do different nails but I need to order coloured gel because all my colours have gone bad (rather you can't see the colour anymore) ... but oh the money. Currently trying to save up on so many things (TT)

And before I forget it, there was the Japanday event which I usually don't go to but there was a band playing this time and also I got the chance to meet a friend I didn't see for a long time. So here are some pictures! My allergy wasn't that bad back then and the weather was really nice until the sun set. It was a nice day overall though and I could finally relax and just stop thinking for some time.

I am a babe, I know (^_−)−☆

Also met Jasmin that day for a bit!

The free gig (band: crow x class) wasn't too bad besides. Well, it was VK after all haha!

And here you have one more selfie I took when I still had exte and then I am off before this post gets even longer. I feel like all my posts are messy? But that's probably because I have to keep my tidyness for all the other tidy things I do for university (read: thesis) haha.

Oh my god in this picture I can see I am aging though!
Or maybe I just had a long day? I hope that's it!

I hope I can post again soon because I am planning a game review of some Japanese mini games I found lately. Hope you are all looking forward to it!

PS. I have a fernopaa/gravil dress for sale here. Take a look if you're interested?

short the Gazette live in Dortmund report, outfit & HD pics of nails

Here I am again and I have a short live report before I go on with my last Tokyo spam!
I was stupidly worried about the live itself because I had an awful experience at my first live of them here in Cologne in 2007. And I am pretty sure the Gazette were feeling the same because not only that 90% of the fandom is crazy and rude but a lot of technical things with the sound and all went wrong. I hardly remember anything of it but let us not talk about it.

I had VIP ticket number 1 omg. Never in my life have I had ticket number 1.
pays off to not sleep for 18 hours after my all-night birthday party to order the tickets hah

The happier I was when I - two days before the concert! - found someone who would give me a ride from a major station pretty close to my parents place (which is closer to Dortmund than my place in Bonn) if I pay her a bit for the gas. Of course I was totally okay with that and I am really happy that it worked out and when I met her I felt like she is a really nice person and we had a great ride! I also drank vodka on the way there and as we were standing at the hall. Unfortunately I had to pee when we arrived and I thought damn. Cause there was nothing around to go to so I just well, went to pee in the bushes. I am not sure if it was the alcohol or not (just drank one of those tiny bottles) but I actually enjoyed that kind of 'natural' experience. I am also glad I was able to ignore all annoying people in front and inside of the hall, for the most part haha.

I left my things in the car and did not bother buying goods (it is mostly just the same old and then some uncool EU goods in my opinion) so that I ended up somewhere in the 3rd row which was quite okay for VIP tickets. The hall was WIDE and not like that stupid Cologne hall at all. The sound and the lights were great! The doors for VIPs opened at 17:30 and it was supposed to begin at 20:00, and it surprisingly did.

Once they came out, everyone went crazy. And once they started playing the first song, I thought I would die from the heat and I could not even just stand there, everyone moved so randomly and violently and in the end I got pushed back somewhere by the second song. Which was okay. I was always somewhere between the 3rd and 6th row I suppose but with everyone moving so much and so randomly, I had troubles just holding my dress up (it slipped down once) and keeping my sweat from running into my eyes.
My friend was getting a lot of hits and did not feel well so she went back but I really did not want to loose my position there and when I sometimes got closer to the 3rd~4th row, I was really happy because I felt like I could make eye contact with the members (mostly Uruha and Ruki) a few times.  And I swear, this was my first time to make eye-contact with them, after like 6 years of trying.

What was most stunning for me is that Ruki's make-up was becoming a bit imperfect as he sang, it was forming a little crease around the corner of his mouth which I personally found adorable!
There were all looking really great and perfect in their own way though. After all we were standing as close as many hardcore fans never get, in the beginning the band was just 3 meters away from us (!!) so we could see their eyes and make-up and strands of hair moving gently (apart from Ruki's hair, that was just SOLID) and not just figures and shadows of them.

Most of the songs were upbeat, apart from Untitled. I suppose the reason why they play less quiet songs is because of the damn crazy crowd and it not knowing how to move during the quiet songs. Just don't move at all, damnit. The songs played were Vortex, Filth in the Beauty, Shiver and some other songs from the TOXIC album.
This time I don't remember everything very well because I was so focused on staring at them! And I was trying to look decent because I had the impression they were sort of looking back but hell, that was hard with the sweat running over my face. I am glad I did not go in the first row, though I wanted to first, but they would have thought: Wow, what is with her? Did she cry? And no, my sweat was just getting so close to my eye make-up and that made it look like I had shed a tear haha.

There was one encore and Ruki got his make-up fixed during the break but he did not have time to put the tour shirt on obviously haha. The last song was Linda and the encore entry song was some sort of upbeat song... don't remember but I think it was the same 'pattern' as on the 10th anniversary live. After those 3 encore songs they already said good-bye and it was really short and emotionless but I felt like they felt a lot of things when they left. Or maybe it was because I was suddenly feeling a lot of things.

I was worried that the lives takes 2 hours or longer but with that one break inbetween it was only 1 hour and 40 minutes. I went out and my clothes were covered in sweat completely, I did not even feel how cold it was outside first. As I found my friend outside and we went to the parking lot, we saw the huge background (?) they used before the live outside lying/hanging. I should have taken it with me but I am too nice (◡‿◡✿)

Then my friend got so annoyed by people standing in the way that she almost knocked over people but I was somehow pleased by that thought haha. Also by then I pulled out my ticket that I had pushed inside of the cleavage of my dress and noticed it was totally soaked in sweat and partly had tears but that was okay. After all that all proves to be a great experience.

And now, finally, outfit and hair before I headed out. Nothing too special but hey, that was all I could do. Somehow I am a bit bothered by how my bangs turned out but if you look at me as a whole package, it still looks good haha.

And a HD close shot of my nails that I put on while in the train to meet my friend. I bought these in Japan two years ago but the thumb nails never stick to my nails properly so I rarely wear them. Some little part already feel off from one nail but look at how sparking they still are!

That is all! Now I will brush out the last bits of hair spray and my sore body will get more rest~

let's rock. sometime soon.

Looong time no see. University is stressfull ; ;'
I managed to take one (1!) outfit shot and the other days I was really unmotivated and sleepy and it got cold so quickly that I wore hot pants only about 2 times the past two weeks, haha.

You can't see it well because it was early in the morning... but it's no special brands there, apart from the Diavlo belt, some engineer boots from Alta and a d.i.a. top & choker that you can't see properly~
In contrast to the heavy rock/dark dark kind of style, my make up was very light lately because of the long train ride and sensitive dry eyes~ It felt okay these days but I like heavy make-up a lot more.
On a side note, my extensions are in a quite good condition still! I hope they last me some more time.
And fashion wise, I feel like dressing more ... host-ish these days? Kind of like this:

More suiting for winter here than the d.i.a. short pants & skirts style, if you ask me~ But I want to buy some light blue pants like this before... (Which is only if I don't have to pay the subsequent recovery I got from the german railways XD;)
Besides, I decorated some nail tips! Which are not suiting for the host-style, but anyway!

That's all so far. I'm still missing Japan as hell and can't wait to go back as soon as possible ; A ;
As for now I will leave you with a picture of my university~

3, 2, 1 and back in germany.

Well well, and here I am back, telling you about my last days in Japan and how much I miss it and want to go back soon. Saving money from now on. - Honestly? I am not even using foundation or anything most of the time, saving make-up money.

Thursday night my friend and I went out in Shinjuku, walked around 2-chome and Kabukicho, seeing my favourite guy and a friend of her and well well ( ; _ ; ) Saying good-bye to everyone, only not really because I am not really good at saying that so I left it out. It upsets people to say good-bye, right? And no one really even wants to say it, unless you're coming back really soon. I'm not sure but maybe Japanese people are a lot like that too.
However, here is what i wore that night. Sorry, I'm too lazy to photoshop the pics in this entry ;<

Shirt: Ma*rs
Hotpants (with skirt part in the front): Gilfy
Belt: Skinny Lip
(Shoes: German brand)

We went to Club Axxcis but only stayed for a few hours. The music was nice but it was really empty. So we decided to walk around Kabukicho, talk to random people, go to an Izakaya, and in the morning Karaoke ♫
I had so much fun walking around and looking at everyone, even though I fell in the afternoon because of slippy floor in the Izakaya and my leg hurted after that in the morning. But it was nice and warm and not raining, luckily. Also a kind of cute host named Kouki came up to and asked for my number, telling me that I promised to give him my number the next time I see him... whenever that was. We wrote each other mails and I gave him my hotmail address when I was about to go back but he didn't mail me again, haha. Guys!

Now I really miss all of Japan, even though I complain about Tokyo people a lot. I had no problems with cockroaches or any other bugs in my house and my budget was alright too. I miss my friends, even though I basically was only hanging out with two people.
Apart from that, I lost about 2,5kg during my trip (4 weeks)! I was really happy to see then when I came back and weighed myself. Now I'm really scared to gain it all back again. I'll just try to take a nice long walk every now and then and hope it doesn't come back~

Here's the nail tips I bought in Donki haha. Since I can't wear gel nails for a while, I'll be sticking with these.
And if you want to get gel nails for yourself, please let me know! I want to practise right now (and only take material expenses) :>

エクステ!

Finally, finally got extensions. I was thinking about a wig/clip in extensions, but no wig ever can replace the feeling of extensions. They don't fall out and they don't look fake, unless you can see them. But even that is kind of pretty when they are braided in~ The only thing is, they are a pain in the ass to wash and maintain healthy ;<

I also made an appointment at the nail salon the same day to take my nails off and now I'm just going with simple ones, I put some glitter on top and that's all, haha. They really break easily now though ; ;' The nail artist also told me it would be better to leave them alone for a while. Also bought some stuff and still dieting to fit into the D.I.A hot pants!
How do Japanese girls just manage to be so skinny with all the yummy food here? I'm jealous!

the monster nail.

So I said I was going to get one nail fixed professionally... I am serious, I'd rather open my own salon than go there again. Most German nail artists aren't really 'professionals' at all...

Now, that's a crappy pic because no one is home to help me take a picture. Anyway, these are my two index fingers. Right one self-made, left one done at the salon.
The shadow is a bit dark so it doesn't show well, but the left one is about 4mm longer than the right one. It's clearly visible.
Apart from that, the salon one isn't really black. More like a dark blue with a black hint. Her colours were really weird. And not only that, she screwed up my rhinestones! They don't really shine like before after those thick layers of clear gels and finishers and I TOLD her they wouldn't but she insisted they would and she would know. I'm so angry I even let her do it but she told me she can :< (I mean, you'd think someone who is a professional can do that?)

salon one

There's bubbles in the outer layer too. My finger hurts and the nail is really heavy and thick, as you can see (white nails are done by me, black one isn't). So I just told her to stop at that point because she wanted to put more layers on top... it's already almost as big as my thumb nail.

Take a tip from me. Never go to German hair or nail salons if you have specific ideas of what you want.
I'm never going to get them done here again. And now I won't get my rest because I just want to modify it :<

Oh, onto the good news though, my poupee is back~
