& the 'free' wig

Yay, new blogpost!
Just a short update but since I have nothing much to do anyway haha.
I got a coupon from PayPal for eBay and decided to buy just something really random I always wanted but couldn't really afford. A wig!

I always wanted to have this kind of style with curls so I don't have to curl my own hair (that takes ages and the curls never last in my real hair). Surprisingly it doesn't look so bad, compared to the first wig I ordered when I was 17 or so (it was pink and the hair was heavy & straight!), I am kind of glad I have a positive experience with a wig ordered online for once.

Some of you might have seen these pictures on FB already but I also have one additional picture of me in glasses for you. Also in case you haven't seen them on FB, I am not really wearing much make-up here (no foundation, just concealer, a hint of eye- and eyebrow liner & mascara), so don't be too shocked haha.
I don't know how to style a wig, I just put it on but I think it didn't look too bad! Hope to wear this on Halloween and other future events with more make-up :D

I really like this wig so much that I am even considering buying another one but on the other hand, man, I don't know, everything over 2$ is a whole lot of money. So I guess I won't. Or I will wait for the next coupon that will come in about 2 years, considering when I got my last coupon.

By the way, I took these pictures with the BeautyPlus app... but I still don't like the kind of pictures the iOS system takes. Why don't they work on making a better camera than on producing stuff like that Apple Watch? Or maybe they want to lose customers, for some reason~

Either way, that's all! Hope you enjoyed that little picture spam and that you're having a nice start into the late summer/autumn season.

PS. Before it slips my mind again and I forget to mention it in the next most... I am really happy so many people are following me even though in the beginning I knew almost no one.
Thank you for reading! If you want me to follow you back, please leave a comment saying so and I will definitely have a look at your blog, too

short the Gazette live in Dortmund report, outfit & HD pics of nails

Here I am again and I have a short live report before I go on with my last Tokyo spam!
I was stupidly worried about the live itself because I had an awful experience at my first live of them here in Cologne in 2007. And I am pretty sure the Gazette were feeling the same because not only that 90% of the fandom is crazy and rude but a lot of technical things with the sound and all went wrong. I hardly remember anything of it but let us not talk about it.

I had VIP ticket number 1 omg. Never in my life have I had ticket number 1.
pays off to not sleep for 18 hours after my all-night birthday party to order the tickets hah

The happier I was when I - two days before the concert! - found someone who would give me a ride from a major station pretty close to my parents place (which is closer to Dortmund than my place in Bonn) if I pay her a bit for the gas. Of course I was totally okay with that and I am really happy that it worked out and when I met her I felt like she is a really nice person and we had a great ride! I also drank vodka on the way there and as we were standing at the hall. Unfortunately I had to pee when we arrived and I thought damn. Cause there was nothing around to go to so I just well, went to pee in the bushes. I am not sure if it was the alcohol or not (just drank one of those tiny bottles) but I actually enjoyed that kind of 'natural' experience. I am also glad I was able to ignore all annoying people in front and inside of the hall, for the most part haha.

I left my things in the car and did not bother buying goods (it is mostly just the same old and then some uncool EU goods in my opinion) so that I ended up somewhere in the 3rd row which was quite okay for VIP tickets. The hall was WIDE and not like that stupid Cologne hall at all. The sound and the lights were great! The doors for VIPs opened at 17:30 and it was supposed to begin at 20:00, and it surprisingly did.

Once they came out, everyone went crazy. And once they started playing the first song, I thought I would die from the heat and I could not even just stand there, everyone moved so randomly and violently and in the end I got pushed back somewhere by the second song. Which was okay. I was always somewhere between the 3rd and 6th row I suppose but with everyone moving so much and so randomly, I had troubles just holding my dress up (it slipped down once) and keeping my sweat from running into my eyes.
My friend was getting a lot of hits and did not feel well so she went back but I really did not want to loose my position there and when I sometimes got closer to the 3rd~4th row, I was really happy because I felt like I could make eye contact with the members (mostly Uruha and Ruki) a few times.  And I swear, this was my first time to make eye-contact with them, after like 6 years of trying.

What was most stunning for me is that Ruki's make-up was becoming a bit imperfect as he sang, it was forming a little crease around the corner of his mouth which I personally found adorable!
There were all looking really great and perfect in their own way though. After all we were standing as close as many hardcore fans never get, in the beginning the band was just 3 meters away from us (!!) so we could see their eyes and make-up and strands of hair moving gently (apart from Ruki's hair, that was just SOLID) and not just figures and shadows of them.

Most of the songs were upbeat, apart from Untitled. I suppose the reason why they play less quiet songs is because of the damn crazy crowd and it not knowing how to move during the quiet songs. Just don't move at all, damnit. The songs played were Vortex, Filth in the Beauty, Shiver and some other songs from the TOXIC album.
This time I don't remember everything very well because I was so focused on staring at them! And I was trying to look decent because I had the impression they were sort of looking back but hell, that was hard with the sweat running over my face. I am glad I did not go in the first row, though I wanted to first, but they would have thought: Wow, what is with her? Did she cry? And no, my sweat was just getting so close to my eye make-up and that made it look like I had shed a tear haha.

There was one encore and Ruki got his make-up fixed during the break but he did not have time to put the tour shirt on obviously haha. The last song was Linda and the encore entry song was some sort of upbeat song... don't remember but I think it was the same 'pattern' as on the 10th anniversary live. After those 3 encore songs they already said good-bye and it was really short and emotionless but I felt like they felt a lot of things when they left. Or maybe it was because I was suddenly feeling a lot of things.

I was worried that the lives takes 2 hours or longer but with that one break inbetween it was only 1 hour and 40 minutes. I went out and my clothes were covered in sweat completely, I did not even feel how cold it was outside first. As I found my friend outside and we went to the parking lot, we saw the huge background (?) they used before the live outside lying/hanging. I should have taken it with me but I am too nice (◡‿◡✿)

Then my friend got so annoyed by people standing in the way that she almost knocked over people but I was somehow pleased by that thought haha. Also by then I pulled out my ticket that I had pushed inside of the cleavage of my dress and noticed it was totally soaked in sweat and partly had tears but that was okay. After all that all proves to be a great experience.

And now, finally, outfit and hair before I headed out. Nothing too special but hey, that was all I could do. Somehow I am a bit bothered by how my bangs turned out but if you look at me as a whole package, it still looks good haha.

And a HD close shot of my nails that I put on while in the train to meet my friend. I bought these in Japan two years ago but the thumb nails never stick to my nails properly so I rarely wear them. Some little part already feel off from one nail but look at how sparking they still are!

That is all! Now I will brush out the last bits of hair spray and my sore body will get more rest~

up & date, being a playgirl

Wow, we are already in June. I think I can't really make more than one blog post a month because the days are passing so damn fast. How are all my dear followers?~

In Germany it's been really sunny and warm the past week before we were surprised by storms towards the weekend. And now there's three weeks of the semester left. I am planning to miss class once more here and there because I am plagued by pollen and some other health-condition things a lot and then it's going to get rough and serious for me with exams. Please pray for me! haha
So what's new? Most of my days I've been spending in University and I guess attending class and actually listening to what is being said and trying to memorize it already is like studying for exams so I hope nothing will get me in trouble this semester.

Besides that I've been using my PSP that I bought used a few months ago. I feel so lucky that people want to get rid of their old stuff and buy all the new things, so I got my PSP 3000 with a memory card for 35€ and it looks almost like new! Now I've been playing a lot of games (why did I write guys first) and of course I've been feeding my YGO 5D's addiction~~

Let me express my feelings just how I express them on tumblr

Since the English version did not really work properly for me, I switched to the Japanese version that also has the voice output during the actual duels and it's soooo fun to play, damn. I love this show and the game just for the fun and detailed characters! I wish the motorbike fun wasn't missing though. Also learning some Japanese with that version I have though sometimes I am too lazy to read all of it...

So besides.
... After like, almost a year, I had a date again. I love having dates but I rarely agree to some I guess (not that I get so many offers either haha but you know, the usual idiots here and there).
I decided to go there cause I thought I'll just give it a chance and well, it was okay though I was exhausted. And bored of the exhaustion that was maybe caused by boredom and my period. But I had a chance to dress up again. I tried to go for a more natural make-up and I bought 'natural' lashes to wear on a daily basis.
My eyes are itchy lately because of pollen so I cannot wear the heavy make-up I like lately (TT)
I've also woken up with either swollen or itchy eyes a lot of times. Another reason why I really feel it's a pain to live here. In winter it's too cold to dress up and in summer I can't do make up properly because of my allergies, ugh! Can't wait to be back in Tokyo. Living here has become really bothersome to me and I can only find myself trying to cope with it

Well anyway, here are some pictures of how I styled for the date. It's really boring and natural but I thought for Germany that's just alright. And I often feel way to overdressed with 'huge' lashes.

With lenses and without lenses. It looks so natural to me haha, almost like I wore no make up! My eyes were so red, I had to photoshop the left picture a little and you can see the difference on the right picture. But seriously, I thought circle lenses make you look younger. Don't you think those make me look older?!

And yes, as you can see I ordered some cheap real hair exte (~26€) from ebay and they turned out to be good quality. I think they won't last me too long but I don't wear them a lot anyway so maybe they will last for some time. I sew all the clip-in parts together to make one big clip-in part out of it. 70g seemed to be enough for my rather thin, layered hair.

So that's all for today, dears. I will try to post soon again. Since the semester is ending in three weeks, you will surely find me procrastinating here because I will not want to study haha. Take care everyone!

about gets, anime fashion & loveil silky beige

Another update this month~
Hello everyone! I'm glad my number of followers is increasing and always happy to follow some of you guys back, I especially enjoy it if we can talk through comments and get to know each other. So as always, thank you very much and please never hesitate to contace me ❤
The past weeks I have been both, lucky and unlucky so my mood was always between 'kind of down' and 'randomly happy for no reason that I recall'. I have been lucky with some of my gets, although I got the Skin79 Diamond absolute total BB cream that is just way too dark for me. I also always thought that because I am not asian I have a skin with pink undertones but even Missha #13 is kind of too red for me, so I assume I should go for make-up suited for skin with yellow undertones. That looks way more normal on me, I think. (Ah, if anyone wants that BB cream, feel free to write me about it. I'll let it go for a few Euro)

Other than that, I received my tutuHA cross necklace I ordered some time ago
(now I am craving for the fernopaa one though because it's longer, bigger and more badass!)

I deceided to go for black even though I am wearing a lot of black, I also wear a lot of white and want to create a nice contrast~ But then why, all of a sudden did I buy this? I often had the chance when I was traveling to Japan but somehow it just became interesting to me now... and that is because...

Yes. No. Yes, pretty much, I am just a fangirl after all (TT)

I really just bought it cause I liked the chain so much. I always liked Yu-Gi-Oh when I was younger and recently watched some old episodes in Japanese (that kind of weren't as cool as I remember them from my childhood days though). But after that I gave the 2nd movie a try and then I watched Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's which (after the initial few episodes) became extremely addicting. And then I wondered... isn't gyaru fashion extremely connected to anime fashion? I started thinking that I probably always wanted to wear this kind of clothes because they look anime-like and somewhere deep within I wanted to be like the people I admired during my childhood.
Look at the pictures above. They style is kind of similar, isn't it?

Is that maybe where gyaru fashion got a lot of inspiration from? If I look at brands like tutuHA, fernopaa & d.i.a. I can easily see that those designs show fashion like the one in Yu-Gi-Oh, other animes might be connected to different brands.

Mai Valentine (Yu-Gi-Oh): blonde curls, drives a car first. rides a bike later (connection to bosozoku culture?)

More than that, looking at Mai Valentine I realize why I am craving long blonde hair, hot pants, OTK boots and chokers! I was never fond of her but lately I realized that the person I became is pretty much like her, not only on the outside. She is taller than most guys in the show and strives to become smarter and stronger than anyone else and most important than all the guys (strong feministic aura, unlike in many other anime) while she often feels lost and overwhelmed. Indeed I think in Yu-Gi-Oh and Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's there are women, especially blonde ones, who are typically strong women - even their Japanese voices are rather deep and they show a lot of self-confidence.

Sherry LeBlanc (Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's): blonde biker, never showing as much skin, also taller than most guys in 5D's

Thinking about that, I really start to realize that especially blonde hair gives off a very feministic feeling, at least in anime & manga culture.
Let me tell you though, in real life in Japan feminism is more twisted and blonde hair isn't always a sign for someone with a strong sense of feminism, actually almost never. It's more of a promiscuous behaviour thing only (remember a certain section in the egg magazine? yeah) and most Japanese women seem to be misunderstanding feminism. I wish there was more blonde girls like in these animes.

Enough of that though! I have already written about feminism in Japan in one of my term papers and will most likely write a bit about it in a future paper too, so I will save my breath. Here I actually wanted to talk about how close anime fashion is to gyaru fashion and only give my readers a bit of an intellectual approach to feminism in anime compared to feminism in real life.

So, I am sure a lot of us girls who like gyaru fashion also like(d) some or one certain anime in their childhood or still do - and if you think about the fashion in that anime, isn't that probably why we crave all the clothing? Maybe that is our generation, the anime generation, the gyaru generation, the one that created a new fashion that slowly graduated from cosplay and other subcultures to a casual gyaru wear.

This entry is getting long! I wanted to post about way more things but this will do for now. At last I want to present a few pictures of myself because I for once dolled up & wore lenses again. Compared to my iPod, my Sony Ericsson phone still takes the prettiest pictures and makes my features look so soft & nice (My beloved flip phone that I prefer to any smartphone! I even found out I can use it as a remote for my notebook!! Never getting up to press 'play' or 'pause' again while watching 5D's~)

And again, blurred photos alwasy turn out to be the best... or is it that I like them because they are blurred?

I was wearing my loveil silky beige (by Koda Kumi produced) lenses for the first time here! Unfortunately they weren't as comfortable as I expected them to be. I wanted to wash one of them with my Opti free pure moist contact lens solution that helped me a lot with other daily disposable lenses but putting a few drops of that solution on a silky beige lens made it unwearable ヽ(`Д´)ノ

What the hell though! My eye kept watering when I tried to put the lens in that I had cleaned with the Opti free solution ... which I don't understand because I know they sell the same brand of contact lens solution in Japan too! I cleaned it several times, with breaks inbetween for my eye to rest, but it kept giving me the feeling as if there was something stuck between my eye and the lens. So I took a new lens and didn't clean it with that solution and it was okay.
Surprisingly I also read a new review about these in Japanese were someone described the same feeling I had with the lens that I tried to clean. I suppose they are not the best lenses.
However... even the two not damaged lenses were not exteremely comfortable. Somehow, while I am in Japan contact lenses are always way easier to wear for me. Here my eyes dry out rather quickly.

Comfort ★★★☆
Colour ★★★★
Overall ★★★☆

They are pretty nice but I wish they were a bit more comfortable. I still can't get over how they reacted with the cleaning solution. I will try these more in the future and see how good they really are.

hair & fashion predictions

It's been a while again...
and I didn't make outfit shots or anything. Even though it was warm for a few days (; ;)
But, university starts again from tomorrow & I am moving into my new apartment from today. I still want to buy so much stuff for it, like curtains that are not red haha. Red curtains seem terrifying to me (I have them now, as standard equipment for the apartment). I will see when I can make it... maybe designing my room will be a birthday present to myself haha.

Onto the topic! I recently noticed a lot of fashionable girls have blue streaks or blue hair~
Which is my fashion prediction number 1 for summer! While I was in Tokyo, I didn't see anyone with blue hair but somehow it got to me that I just HAD to have blue streaks. I wanted to have more than just two but one was 430yen which is... expensive x_x My last exte place did not charge extra for differently coloured strands.

Anyway, this was before I did the model job, my hair wasn't that long and I had 'only' 50 exte in (つけほうだい). (Excuse the facemask in the pics... I was, as always, lacking a mirror in my room).

The blue strands were still standing out a bit. But after they put in about 15 or 20 more exte for the shooting, you basically could not see the blue anymore. I am thinking of cutting some of the exte out myself, even though it looks nice and full now (volume~), they are just a bother and the ends became frizzy already.

So, I am also thinking of buying blue clip-in exte. But not sure yet since I know I don't usually put in clip-in extensions, they are a bother to me and it wouldn't look good if I don't have long hair, I think. After all I think I should have just gotten more of those blue strands but 430yen for one is just way too much ; ;

Still I think blue hair is going to be a big trend for summer. Blue eyeliner (the glittery one especially) was already really popular last year, some might remember?

I do believe this summer it will be coming, too! As well as blue lenses, blue nails and blue fashion items, like Cocona/Serina combines them. It looks so bright and cheerful, doesn't it?
PLUS, it gives a nice variety to the common pink colours shown mostly by Ageha/Egg or adult-like (大人っぽく) all black/white coordinates featured mostly in Jelly or Happie Nuts.

The last week that I was in Tokyo I saw a lot of shop staff from Shinjuku Alta who wore exactly the same lenses as me (shown here)! I was totally surprised, but they are pretty and comfortable lenses after all. And I got mine for only 13$ on sale (*☻-☻*)
It definitely showed me: Blue is coming to rock this year!

 About the DON'Ts:

- don't choose dark blue
instead of brighthing your style up, it will give you a goth kind of look

- don't combine blue with too much pink
pink lips are fine but besides, choose either or (unless you are airming for the Harajuku decora look?)

- don't overdo the blue
personally I think two-toned hair, blue & blonde for example, is too much. same goes for all-blue coordinates
the easiest way to not overdo it might be to choose accessories that are blue~

- be careful with blue jeans & blue
might look awkward sometimes if you combine too much blue with blue jeans

Other than that, please enjoy a colourful summer this year~

ガゼ、madRip shooting in 渋谷、Garula & d.i.a. GETS

Back from Tokyo! Didn't really have much time to update there, I dunno...
Anyway, let's come to the highlights of my last 7 days in Tokyo which were the best of that trip~

First things first, 0310 was the Gazette 10th anniversary live which was SMASHING.
All the goods were sold out quickly, as you can see. Maybe it's good I didn't spend so much money on them, haha. You can read about the live itself in my livejournal in detail. All in all good old-style Gazette music heating everyone up within just minutes. Got so hot I had to take off my coat (///∇//)

ダメな大人にはなりませぬ~♥

I got hairset for it! Look at it though. It fell together quite quickly and wasn't so nice because the stylist had no intentions to fix the bangs part. He was such a douche anyway, really... but that didn't ruin my day.

On the Monday after that (12th), I had a shooting for madRip in Shibuya, where I got my extensions. They were sort of nice and I was surprised that they asked me to be their model! While one of the girls was putting in my exte, the girl who was serving the customer next to me was whispering to her: 'Ask her if she wants to model for us' in Japanese haha. Then the girl who was doing my hair was like 'But she is only here for one more week...' and the answer to that was 'Anyway, ask her' or sort of something like that which resulted in asking me if I did modeling before and if I wanted to do it for them. Which sort of surprised me, because... when the staff girl said 'she is only here for one more week', I was like what? did they want me as a long-time model? '__'; Ahhh. It's sort of hard to believe but I will linger in that dream for a bit.

They told me I will probably see the pics up from April in Hot Pepper. I was thinking 'maybe they won't even use the pics if they didn't turn out too well' but since they paid me for it... I don't think they will not use them. Now I am scared to look at the Hot Pepper online site though XD; They liked my face and long nose and said I looked like Nicole Richie with the make-up they did on me lol (kind of too much for my taste, but really cute and pink). I am sort of scared to see how it all turned out because I didn't see the pictures and I really never modeled before XD But hey, whatever. It is an experience.

My hair was so super fluffly and big that I deicded to take purikura of myself and take another pic of me in the Shibuya 109. I will probably never do my hair like that anyway, it looks too romantic and sweet for my taste and it is so much effort. Though who knows, maybe some similar style one day...
As for the purikura, for the first time ever I think I choose the 'normal' mode for the eyes. If looks SO different from 'normal' big-eyed purikura, right?

Last but not least, on Thursday (15th) and Friday (16th) I met up with a friend... and Friday evening I got some more stuff from FERNOPAA and d.i.a. Here is a pic of all I got, besides what I already showed. Doesn't look that much, but it raped my wallet, just like I want to rape jrock guys gently. Fuck but it was worth it. I love it all ♥

Picture turned out naturally like this, I didn't adjust it. I like that (◕‿◕✿)
As for the brands, left to right, the jacket and the zebra hotpants are Garula (♥), skull shirt is FERNOPAA (♥) and the rest is d.i.a. (♥♥). The d.i.a. parka reminded me so much of Gazette (T-T) and I am surprised to fit in their pants because I didn't really lose weight during my trip~
All together is like... don't ask me... 47,000円 pretty much? (^∇^;)ゞ

Since I am literally broke now, please wait for a SALES post soon. It will probably contain nice-looking and popular items from Real Ma*rs & Skinny Lip, so stay tuned~

パン、パンツ、バカンス

Hello everyone~

Yes, yes, I am still here on my holiday in Tokyo and wondering if I will need a holiday after this holiday. Because this doesn't feel like a holiday at all and I just feel rushed because people want to meet me lately (T_T) I want to meet everyone too, but at the same time, due to stressing myself out about being here and there on time, I got high fever the other day. First I didn't get at all why I was so terribly dizzy. Only the next day I understood I had fever and it was still continuing until today. I should be trying to sleep but I can't really get myself to rest...

I feel like I should stress myself out less and make less appointments but it's just not my style. I feel like I am going to miss so much (especially money, if I don't get to go to all my lessons haha).

no idea if i should trust these medications lmao
So I was at the hospial today though and got some medicine. Obviously what I got is a viral gastroenteritis. I was told it means that symptoms are going to stay for a while and the medication might take them away for a bit but I will still be sick :< It bothers me to no end. I'm torn between taking a rest and doing things right now though. The doctor said the symptoms will last for 3-5 more days but knowing me, it will last longer. I hope at least the fever will go down quickly. I will sleep for very long time today and hope for the best.

Other than that! I've tried to colour my roots. Just my roots, really. But the bleach I got at the drug store was so uber strong that it bleached my hair to white-blond within about 5-8 minutes!!! I went to Nakano Donki to get another dye and burned half of my scalp (wait, maybe all of it? it's really burnt) to get the colour evened out. It sort of looks like on Tsubasa now but at this point I should say I do not recommend blonde Japanese hair dye!

Besides, I've been eating a lot, I think I gained weight haha.
But that is okay! Why? Because I still fit into the awesome d.i.a. jeans I got!

 ドキドキワクワク lovelovelove (///∇//)
They are slightly tight at the hole parts but hell I don't care & I want one more pair (;;)

Oh, as a side note, I passed my Japanese exam with an A (1,0).
If I now also passed my other exam, I will be happy with not doubt even once I return to Germany
