Sleepy time boyfriend & how to become a #1 host

Hello everyone and thank you for all the people reading this blog first of all!
I am glad if it manages to keep boredom away from you or is some kind of informing about anything.

I have been wanting to make a post about games & apps since a while so here I present you Sleepy time boyfriend, a quite amusing iPhone app for those who often stay up at night wondering about several things and not being able to sleep haha. A virtual boyfriend to say some nice things to you right before bed-time. And during bed-time. And after bed-time, when you wake up!

Awkwardly my nose just started bleeding... So, here. Left is the 'main screen'. You can slide through the characters and choose which guy you want. There's a total of 12 guys.
Why I like this guy? Cause he has the voice of Kazuma Kiryu from Yakuza!! (〃^▽^〃)
Obviously the others also have voices from different famous anime characters but I don't know any of those (that's because I am the girl who only likes one or two animes at most lol).

Unfortunately there is only a few phrases and then some you can additionally purchase but what I particularly like is the fact that you can set an alarm and the guy of your choice will gently wake you up. That's just super sweet, isn't it? Somehow the soft voice always made me wake up in a very calm mood. But I also fell asleep again a few times... so together with an additional alarm, this might be a good choice for people who need a 'motivation' to get up in the morning! (and don't have a boyfriend to wake them up lol). Let me spam you with a few more pictures~

The kind of words every girl wants to hear before sleeping, no? (TT) Ah, so charming. Why can't real guys be like that? Though there's a few guys who just weren't my type at all, I hope you'll give this a try and find the one you like. After a while it might easily get boring but the alarm function is still sweet.

The next one that you all should know about is one of the most amusing aspects in Yakuza 2, not only that you have the chance to manage a hostess club in a side mission (which is also really fun, you can change the interior design and the menu/prices, motivate the staff etc) but you can enter another side mission where you get to be a host! And you need to become the #1 host to beat the current one and trigger a certain event where the top host is decided by a host competition.

Basically through the whole side mission you will have to charm girls and make them spend money on alcohol. A lot of money. If they spend enough money or if you even make them get the most expensive champagne bottle (they'll get a special champagne call!), you will win the part of the side mission, get paid and your boss will call you again later for the next customer (who you will have to make spend more and more and more and more)... as boring as the system is, it was very interesting to find out what girls want to hear haha. And the way you have to present yourself, for every girl a different character, it's fun. In the beginning you get to work together with another host before you get your own customers (who will come back to see you again if you fail to make them spend enough money).

You can see the amount they have spent and the amount they should spend before they leave at right upper corner. And the hearts show how much the girl is fond of you... so if she's really fond of you, she will spend more! That is the rule but unlike the champagne call, it is probably not just as in reality haha.

There's one more club called Stardust you can go to as a customer, but you never really get to sit with the guys of course. A pity, but two hosts there (Yuya and Kazuki, of whose the latter is adorable) participate in the main story so you will get to visit the club and them more or less often.

Stardust

Even though I don't like the main romance story in this game (and how it ends), I can only recommend this game for everyone who ever wanted to be a host haha. Or go to a host or hostess club. You will also go to OSAKA (!!) in Yakuza 2 so it's definitely worth it to try this game.

On a side note, a remake of Yakuza and Yakuza 2 came out, so maybe you should try those out if you can't think of a good game to play and you like one with a good story that is not a typical Japanese RPG.

Hope you enjoyed my game recommendations! Let me know if you have played/liked any of these~
I will forever be looking for anoter great game like Yakuza

Koda Kumi lenses haul (loveil silky beige)

Yay. Now that I should study I keep updating!
Either way I received my new daily disposable lenses and am super excited to try them even though at the same time I feel like I will save them up for special occassions. They seem so gorgeous and I hope they don't dry out my eyes as I have dry eyes a lot lately. Maybe I should stop using yearly circle lenses at all.

Anyway, pictures!

Koda Kumi seems to mostly promote the colour 'midnight amber' (... or umber, as it says, haha) but I got the 'silky beige' ones. I heard egg model Manya uses these a lot too. I believe that most models care about high quality lenses a lot. Doubt anyone of them wears yearly lenses for a whole year.

Free eyedrops, yay~

I've read these are 'extremely easy-to-use one-day disposable lenses, suitable even for the working lady who does not use colored contact lenses on a daily basis' haha. I guess they are worth a try because most people don't wear (and should not wear) big sized circle lenses everyday. I'll try these as soon as possible.

Hope I got everyone excited! For more information on the lenses, have a look here.
Have a good weekend everyone~

longing for girly things & memories from japan

I thought about updating more here lately. Due to some failed relationship-thing I am having more free time anyway Well, even though I can't say I am doing much lately... I am stuck between trying to keep the 'I need to study' attitude down but I am torn between actually studying a tiny bit and not studying at all. Not doing anything for the exams feels weird for me!

What it actually looks like when I try to study and attend the lecture to check if my homework was okay /cough. If you think this is terrible, then you should see my notes for other lectures... But, the only important thing is that you do something every once in a while, right?!

The past few weeks I've been again dreaming of changing things for my room and going back to Tokyo as soon as possible. It's all because I saw a wonderful closet inspiration on tumblr.

The warm and fragile female and the cool male version (though who puts books right next to boots, nooo ; ;)
I have been looking for a clothes rack like this but you can't beelieve how hard it is to find an elegant one with a place for boots etc. Most looks super cheap and the ones that don't, are super expensive. I like this 'open closet' concept - though I am not a fan of walk-in closets because I like small rooms - so I will continue to look for something like that.
Looking at those pictures I was reminded of my old room in Shinjuku where I lived from September 2010 till 2011. In Japan, it was pretty much the place where I felt most at home and really myself at (even though I saw some evil cockroaches a few times.... yuk). I still miss it a lot! Here are some impressions from when I came back in January 2011.

Looks at all the brands! haha. I almost didn't wear anything but 109 back then: the outer wear is from Spiral Girl (black) and Ma*rs (green). It looks a bit messy because I never knew where to put my coats! I probably would have bought some sort of clothing rack if I had stayed longer. The mirror was a present from my lovely friend whose room I mostly adored because of her big and colourful wardrobe!

She had the clothes rack I want haha. That day my friend cooked nabe for us! And then we made Origami paper cranes and other stuff... It was really amusing actually and later we planned our trip together to Osaka. Ah, I could cry thinking about it now because the way I spend my time there was very different to how I/most people spend their time in Germany. I think we lack a lot of social activities in most of Europe. Everything is either dining out or going drinking or watching a movie. It's kind of mind-numbing.
I am still torn between things and want to go back to Tokyo/Japan soon, yet I am not sure if I want to go through a university program because I like being more free and I'd rather like to work soon. I like studying and learning new things but I don't feel like I want to continue to sit in university for 2 more years.

Sooooo much for that. While I have to struggle through exams and decisions, I am slightly intrigued by this simple game for the iPod & iPhone. The little bitter-sweet distraction that you need in life. It's both, romantic and stupid at once haha.

You can choose between 6 princes.
If you are a hopeless romantic at times, please give 'Be my princess' a chance~

And from here, have a good start into the week everyone! Also, let me know if you want to hear more of my happenings in Japan during my one-year stay ☆

late new year, vassen sweet eye & latest moods

Happy New Year everyone!~
I am late again... as always. You must be used to it by now, haha. I've had a lot to do for university but I finally decided to not give a fuck about it because the stress makes me physically sick and its really not worth it. Still sort of tensed about exams. I have never failed a class and don't plan to!
Anyhow, now officially not giving a fuck anymore. If I fail, I fail - done. I want my private life back.

I haven't done much these days (got sick right around Christmas, right after I went to the Black Line live) but I managed to take a few pictures of my lenses before I actually went to the concert. The ones I bought the last time were called 'Sweet Eye Grey' by Vassen. They appeared very nice to me on the picture on the PinkyParadise site but when I wore them, I wasn't impressed at all.

Actually I hate them. They are bright but I think they are too big! Too much colour. Yes there is such a thing as too much colour haha. Because they are so big but are only one-toned and have a very thin black rim, they look just wrong to me. Sort of anime-like maybe? And my eyes got really dry and red from them. (Though I get this more often than before nowadays.)

Comfort ★☆☆☆
Colour/Design ★★☆☆
Overall ★☆☆☆

I've bought lenses from PinkyParadise that dried out my eyes before. I don't know why it always happens with them. Lenses from LensVillage did not give me that problem but maybe it is just a coincidence.
After wearing them again after that, I would not recommend them. My eyes hurt after a few hours. The colour is too bold, I don't know... something is wrong with these. It could just be me of course.
But: whoever said that high water content is good for dry eyes is an idiot. It's not. Mostly those lenses with lower water content are better for dry eyes. Anyway, it was worth a try.

After Christmas I met two of my friends here in Germany (the same who I met in Japan in summer, too). It was great to talk about all sorts of things and hang out casually, even though we did not really do much.

I got a present too! It consisted of many sweet little things. Very useful as well, haha.
I usually never shop at claire's but that rouge brush is definitely something I always wanted to get.

That's pretty much all I have to tell! All that's on my mind lately is that university really sucks.

Apart from that, I find myself often considering to let my natural hair colour grow again and to grow the blonde out. The ombre or two-tone trend has been going on quite a while. So I was thinking I could let it grow out as long as it is considered somewhat fashionable haha. Then again I don't know if I can stand that for too long. Anna Fujita had been wearing that kind of hair style a lot though, so I might try.

I think if I really let it grow out my hair would mostly look like on the left, but a tad lighter (my natural hair colour is an dark ash blonde/light grey-brown?). I already started to colour my roots darker than the rest so that it actually looks like on the right picture. That is because I don't want to bleach any part apart from the newly grown hair anymore. And thankfully, my hair seems to really actually grow that way... at least more or less. At least it looks more healthy to me since I do that. And I do like how it looks on the right picture but bleaching still seems bad for my hair and scalp. Looking badass-blonde always takes its troll.

What do you all think of this kind of hair style (two-tone/ombre)? How do you think of natural hair colours and do you often crave to 'go back to your roots'? I'd love to hear your opinions!
